STOCKHOLM — Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ) (“MTG”) today held an Extraordinary General Meeting (the “EGM”). Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and in accordance with temporary Swedish legislation, the EGM was conducted purely through postal voting. The EGM resolved in accordance with the Board's proposal regarding an authorization for the Board to resolve on repurchase of own shares.

The EGM's resolution to authorize the Board to resolve on repurchases of MTG's own shares is valid until the 2022 Annual General Meeting, and conditional upon, among other things, that MTG's holding does not at any time exceed 10 percent of the total number of shares in MTG.
