Modern Times Group MTG AB (‘MTG’ or ‘the Group’), the international entertainment broadcasting group, today announced the disposal of the Brombergs Bokförlag AB book publishing business for an undisclosed sum, to a company controlled by Dorotea Bromberg. The business will continue to operate under the same trading name. Brombergs represented less than 0.5% of MTG Group sales for the twelve months ended 31 December 2005 and its results were reported within the Modern Studios business area. The sale of the operations is in line with MTG’s focus on its core broadcasting operations. The acquisition price was subject to an independent valuation.
