MTG always put gamers at the centre. We work with developers, publishers and gaming communities to create and publish games that are best-in-class. We are continuously innovating and strengthening our position as a first party game developer across multiple platforms. That includes browser, mobile and tablet apps, and Steam.
Rewind fifty years, and the gaming industry is almost unrecognizable. From humble beginnings with the first home computers, gaming has grown, evolved, and professionalized immensely in recent decades.
Today, it marks one of the largest and most profitable entertainment industries in the world, with the global gaming market valued at USD 175.8 billion in 2021.
But with new modes of entertainment emerging every day, can gaming continue to dominate the market?

We are proud owners of German leading city builder developer and publisher InnoGames, San Fransisco-based indie and idle forerunner Kongregate, UK-founded mobile racing pioneer Hutch, founders of Bloons Tower Defense franchise, Ninja Kiwi, from New Zealand, and leading word games developer PlaySimple from India. And we are more than an investor. We are a partner to all companies in our group. We work with them to create value in their companies, to give advice and support from our extensive network and in-house talent. We support them on topics such as management, business development, product innovation, tax issues, legal topics and much more. This way of working gives our whole gaming vertical ultimate opportunities to develop new games to drive further sales and growth.
Beyond that, we offer the founders of the companies the opportunity to share knowledge and learn from other companies in the group. This is what we call “The Swedish family model”. We would love to tell you more if it sounds right for you as an entrepreneur, looking for a new home for your company in esports or gaming.
