MTG RAISES A SEK 800 MILLION STRUCTURED FACILITY Modern Times Group MTG AB has mandated Deutsche Bank to arrange and syndicate a SEK 800 million structured facility for MTG. The general syndication is expected to be launched in early April, 1999. The 5 year facility will be utilized both to refinance existing loans and also to finance the further expansion of MTG. Pelle Törnberg, VD for MTG, says in a comment: "The facility is an important step in the integration of MTG¹s operations, a process which started three years ago. The former financing on a subsidiary-basis has been replaced by a more flexible financing for the group as a whole." MTG has been advised by Banque Invik.
