On 21 May 2026, the Annual General Meeting of MTG resolved on a reduction of the share capital by SEK 19,035,000 by way of cancellation of 3,807,000 Class B shares held in treasury by MTG, which comprised Class B shares repurchased by MTG between 10 October 2025 and 15 May 2026. The reduction of the share capital by way of cancellation of shares was completed in August 2026.

As of 31 August 2026, the number of shares in MTG amounts to 119,502,285 and the number of votes amounts to 122,998,740. The total number of shares are divided into 388,495 Class A shares and 119,113,790 Class B shares. As of 31 August 2026, MTG holds 936,000 Class B shares in treasury.
