Emily Greer, Kongregate CEO and co-founder, stepping down to pursue new gaming venture

Emily Greer leaving CEO post 13 years after co-founding the top game destination Kongregate and leading its growth into Mobile and PC gaming.

MTG portfolio company and leading publisher of mobile, PC, console and web games, Kongregate, has announced that CEO and co-founder Emily Greer is leaving the company to pursue a new gaming venture.

Emily co-founded Kongregate with her brother Jim Greer in 2006, working initially as COO, until she assumed the CEO position in 2014. Pany Haritatos, Kongregate’s current COO, will serve as interim CEO.

MTG is in discussions to invest in Emily’s new venture through the gaming start-up VC fund.
