The clips will come from all over the MTG family; tv-channels, Viasat Sport and Viaplay, as well as content from the MCNs Zoomin and Splay. Exciting eSports content from ESL’s events will also be featured.
Jacob Mejlhede Andersen, EVP and Head of Programming and Content development at MTG, comments:
“We are of course very excited to be a part of the new video service from Spotify as this is a new way for us to use and distribute our content. The platform will be a great way of gathering and marketing highlights from our broad content portfolio to Spotify users not only in the Sweden but also in the US, UK and Germany. “
Kajsa Gatenbeck, Global business developer at Splay, comments:
“One of Splay’s primary missions is to help our talents to grow their audience across multiple platforms. The collaboration with Spotify will add an amazing value to our network. It will enable us to offer an additional distribution channel to our talents. Many of our talents will have their own Spotify-channels and we are planning on delivering more than 500 clips during the launch period. We are really excited about the reactions from the viewers.“
