TracePlay urban streaming service flows to US

July 4 2017

Happy Fourth of July! Fans of urban music and entertainment in the US can now stream the very best sounds and series through TracePlay.

TracePlay offers viewers over 2,000 on-demand programmes, including reality shows like “Growing Up Hip Hop” and “Kingin’ with Tyga”; movies such as “Malcolm X,” “Mum, Dad, Meet Sam,” “30 Days in Atlanta” and “Ayanda”; hit series including “Kingmakers”; and music and sports documentaries.

That’s in addition to 10 live TV channels and 30 digital radio stations playing the hottest hip-hop, Afrobeat, Caribbean music and much more.

TracePlayTRACE, the company behind TracePlay, has also launched a US joint venture, backed by names such as hip-hop legend Wyclef Jean and FUBU clothing brand co-founder J. Alexander Martin, to produce and license new urban content particularly relevant for stateside audiences.

Headquartered in Clichy, France, TRACE is owned by MTG. TRACE is the number one global brand for Afro-urban entertainment, with its content reaching 60 million pay-TV subscribers and over 200 million users across 160 countries. Today, TRACE owns and operates 21 pay-TV channels, 4 FM radio stations, and over 30 digital services.

Get TracePlay online, in the App Store or Google Play, or through Apple TV and Chromecast. The service is available in both English and French.
