MTG’s Merrily Ross talks unscripted on MIPTV panel

At MIPTV 2018, MTG’s Merrily Ross will reveal how MTG creates the Nordic region’s hottest unscripted formats – all the way from pitch to primetime.


The insights from Merrily Ross, VP Formats and Content Development at MTG, will form part of the MIPTV panel discussion ‘New Ways to Get from Paper to Broadcast’ on 8 April 2018, 0900 CET at Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

Merrily Ross: “Unscripted stories have a unique capacity to engage audiences around the world, and at MIPTV I’m really looking forward to discussing and sharing innovative ways to bring viewers even more great new formats.”

The panel also features Lisette Van Diepen of Talpa Network and Electus’s John Pollak. In October 2017, MTG became a founding member of Electus International’s global co-production model 6/26, which focuses on creative factual unscripted entertainment pitches from US and independent global producers.
