Kongregate heats up Steam with new titles

October 19 2017

Kongregrate’s strategy to become a leading cross-platform publisher is picking up Steam with the releases of ‘Office Space: Idle Profits’ and ‘Super Fancy Pants Adventure’.

Kongregate Steam

The temperature’s rising for players on Steam, one of the world’s leading gaming platforms, as Kongregate releases two hot new titles:

  • Published on 18 October, ‘Office Space: Idle Profits’ features characters from the cult 1999 Mike Judge movie about rogue office workers. The game is developed by Kongregate’s Ultrabit Studios together with FoxNext Games, and successfully launched on mobile in April.
  • Released on 20 September, ‘Super Fancy Pants Adventure’ is a parkour-inspired platform game drawn, animated and programmed by creative talent Brad Borne. Previous ‘Fancy Pants’ titles have been played more than 100 million times on mobile and online.

Kongregate’s first original game, ‘GRIDD: Retroenhanced’, is already available on Steam, as well as for Xbox One.

Founded in 2006 as a web portal for free-to-play games, MTG’s Kongregate is rapidly expanding across every platform. The company’s mobile releases, including 2016 Editors’ Choice winners ‘BattleHand’, ‘AdVenture Capitalist’ and ‘The Trail’, have already received more than 100 million downloads – and in August, Kongregate launched a $10 million PC and console game fund.

In addition to publishing, Kongregate offers developers expert support in everything from marketing and analytics to platform relationship management.

So if you’re feeling inspired by ‘Office Space: Idle Profits’ or ‘Super Fancy Pants Adventure’ to develop the next global smash hit – on any platform – contact Kongregate right here!
