ESL and Mercedes-Benz take esports into the fast lane

Esports just keeps on accelerating – MTG’s ESL, the world’s biggest esports company, and Mercedes-Benz are revving up a global tournament partnership.

Starting with ESL One Hamburg on 28-29 October, premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz will sponsor ESL esports events around the world.

It’s the latest in a series of tie-ups that reflect esports’ global appeal and attractive demographics – ESL has already inked a renewed partnership with Intel, while tournament highlights are winging their way to Emirates Airline flights across 150 destinations.

And esports doesn’t get much more legendary than ESL One Hamburg. Recently upgraded to Valve Major status, the event brings together the world’s top eight Dota 2 teams to battle for a $1 million prize pot.

Through yet another ESL co-operation, this time with German media outlet SPORT1, fans can enjoy ESL One Hamburg on free TV in Germany. That’s in addition to ESL’s very own TV channel, esportsTV, and Twitter and Facebook – and of course as an unbeatable live arena experience.

Fasten your seatbelts – this is going to be an amazing ride!
